Job summary

Midland Health is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our team in Texas, supporting dispensing, patient counseling, and regulatory compliance within a hospital setting.

The role includes supervising technicians, maintaining controlled substance records, and staying current with state and federal laws and vaccination certifications. Weekend shifts (Saturday-Sunday 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM) are included. A PharmD or BS in Pharmacy with an active Texas license is required.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist must hold a current Texas license and be eligible to practice in the state.
• Bachelor or Doctor of Pharmacy degree required; specialization certifications preferred.
• Maintain vaccination certification and stay current with laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmacological information to customers/patients for prescriptions and inquiries.
• Supervise technicians; direct workflow and verify labeling, charging, and inspections.
• Process, check and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain vaccination certification and comply with specialty certifications as applicable.
