Overview

Since its founding in 1992, Edgewood Properties has established itself as a leading real estate development and property management company. With corporate headquarters in New Jersey, the company is on a course of growth leading to activities across the nation.

Given ongoing construction and development plans, our current apartment portfolio of 5,000 plus units is expected to double in the next couple of years and rise to over 10,000 units in the next five years, alongside over 5 million square feet of commercial retail space. Given our rapid portfolio growth, coupled with ownership's desire to develop and hold rather than sell, the timing is ideal for qualified candidates to come on-board.

We are currently seeking an experienced Licensed Pesticide Applicator. This position is headquartered out of our South Plainfield office but will work at various sites throughout NJ.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory
• Ensure lawn applications are occurring on schedule set by operations manager
• Ensure all applications are done in accordance with state, local, and federal laws governing pesticides
• Apply fertilizers and pesticides to lawns according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions
• Knowledge of using different machines for applications, including Perma-Green, Turfco 3000i, Z spray machines, Broadleaf Weed, and Turf insect identification

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• NJ Pesticide License (preferred) 1-3 years experience
• Core, 3A, 3B
• Must have valid NJ Driver License
• Physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and to work a minimum of 8 hours a day in a variety of weather conditions performing physical labor. Seasonal Hours 40+
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check
