Job summary

Aptive Environmental, LLC in Edina, MN is seeking a full-time Pest Control Technician to service a daily route around the Minneapolis area. You’ll resolve customer pest concerns, maintain trucks and equipment, and record treatments in compliance with laws.

Candidates must hold a current commercial pesticide applicator license for general pest control, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record. We provide training, a company vehicle, gas card, benefits, and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Must hold a current commercial pesticide applicator license for general pest control.
• A US driver’s license that has been valid for a minimum of 3 years is required.
• A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years).

Responsibilities

• Running a daily route where you will be resolving customer pest concerns and issues
• Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order
• Keeping accurate records of treatments provided
• Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides following state and federal laws
• Serve as the subject matter expert for your customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures
• Advise customers of potential problems
• Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage

Education

Commercial pesticide applicator license (general pest control)

Driver's license (valid for 3+ years)

This is a full-time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around Minneapolis, MN. This position will report to our office in Edina, MN once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment and excels working at an individual level.

$22.75 - $24.75 an hour

• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires
