Job summary

Aptive Environmental, LLC is seeking a hard-working Pest Control Technician to join our field team on the road in the Pittsburgh, PA area, reporting weekly to Bridgeville. You will run a daily route addressing customer pest concerns, maintain equipment, and ensure record accuracy.

You will apply pesticides per laws, keep thorough treatment records, and provide tailored solutions. The role includes every other Saturday, a company vehicle, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current commercial pesticide applicator license or certification for general pest control in the state where the work will be performed.
• US driver’s license valid for a minimum of 3 years; clean driving record required.
• Drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires.

Responsibilities

• Running a daily route resolving customer pest concerns and issues.
• Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keeping accurate records of treatments provided.
• Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides following state and federal laws.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient pest solutions.
• Maintaining and servicing all route customers according to company standards.
• Advise customers of potential problems and keep management informed of issues.
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage.
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs.
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday.

This is a full-time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around Pittsburgh, PA . This position will report to our office in Bridgeville, PA once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment, and excels working at an individual level.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a current commercial pesticide applicator license or certification for general pest control in the state where the work will be performed.
• A US driver's license that has been valid for a minimum of 3 years is required
• A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years)
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires.
