Job summary

Aptive Environmental is seeking a full-time Pest Control Technician to service a local Foxborough on-road route in Massachusetts. The role reports to the Foxborough office and involves driving a company vehicle, performing treatments, and maintaining equipment while following state and federal regulations.

Qualified applicants hold a current commercial pesticide applicator license, have a valid 3-year driving history, and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current commercial pesticide applicator license or certification for general pest control.
• Driver’s license valid for a minimum of 3 years and clean driving record.
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires.
• Ability to work on the road and lift a 50 lb backpack.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route resolving customer pest concerns and issues.
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided.
• Mix, apply, and work with pesticides following state and federal laws.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing efficient pest solutions.
• Maintain and service all route customers per company standards.
• Advise customers of potential problems.
• Keep management informed of problems on routes.
• Carry a 50 lb product backpack.
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday.

We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full-time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around Foxborough, MA. This position will report to our office in Foxborough, MA once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment, and excels working at an individual level.

• $21.00 - $23.00 an hour

• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs

Qualifications:

• Must hold a current commercial pesticide applicator license or certification for general pest control in the state where the work will be performed.
• A US driver’s license that has been valid for a minimum of 3 years is required
• A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years)
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires
