Job summary

Aptive Environmental is seeking a full-time Pest Control Technician for routes in the Fort Collins, CO area. You will report weekly to the Longmont, CO office and service local routes with a company vehicle provided for home use.

Responsibilities include daily pest control work, truck maintenance, accurate treatment records, and adherence to safety regulations. Benefits include health plans, 401(k), paid time off, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current commercial pesticide applicator license or certification for general pest control in the state where the work will be performed.
• A US driver’s license that has been valid for a minimum of 3 years is required.
• A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years).
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires.

Responsibilities

• Running a daily route where you will be resolving customer pest concerns and issues.
• Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keeping accurate records of treatments provided; mixing, applying, and working with pesticides following state and federal laws.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for your customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer’s individual needs.
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures.
• Advise customers of potential problems.
• Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes.
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage.
• Please note that you will be assigned a route in your local area.
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs.
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday.

This is a full-time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around Fort Collins, CO. This position will report to our office in Longmont, CO once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment and excels working at an individual level.

• $21.75 - $23.75 an hour
