Licensed Pediatric Physical Therapist (Travel Contract)

Seeking Pediatric Physical Therapist for a facility located along the picturesque coast of Monterey Bay area.

Pay: $2,880 - $3,250 per week

If you are a Physical Therapist with strong pediatrics experience who can help out with coverage, this is a great opportunity to work and help a compassionate team that strives to make a difference in the lives of children.

The facility is located along the scenic coastal line of Monterey Bay, renowned for its natural beauty, marine life, and historical significance.

As a PT, you will work in a private outpatient setting that provides individual therapy for babies through adults and offers social & Little One's classes for children aged 3-12 years old.

Shifts: Flexible, with options for 3/12 or 4/10s.

Full-time position, no weekends, and many benefits provided.

Coverage term: 13 to 26 weeks.

Very competitive pay with reimbursable expenses.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, consult, and develop individualized treatment plans based on pediatric patients' needs.
• Understand children's growth and development stages.
• Assist children in improving mobility to participate safely in activities at home, school, and community.
• Teach movement activities such as crawling, walking, running, and playing.
• Enhance body dynamics, gait, balance, strength, and coordination.
• Assess positioning and ergonomics, and recommend orthotics and mobility aids.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Pediatric specialization or relevant experience.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong understanding of children's growth and development.
• Passion for helping children achieve mobility and well-being.
