Job summary

LaBeau Collective Talent Partners is seeking a Structural Forensics Consultant (Licensed PE) in Golden, CO. This full-time role focuses on investigating building performance issues, identifying root causes of failures, and developing practical repair solutions for existing buildings.

The position combines forensic investigation, structural assessment, building enclosure evaluation, repair design, project management, and client consulting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering, forensic consulting, rehabilitation, or existing buildings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations and assessments of existing buildings and structures.
• Evaluate structural systems, building enclosures, roofing, waterproofing, facades, and masonry components.
• Review construction documents, drawings, and historical project information.
• Investigate water intrusion, air leakage, condensation, structural deterioration, and construction defects.
• Analyze observed conditions to determine probable causes of failures or deficiencies.
