Job summary

Stonefield Engineering & Design in Garden City, NY is seeking a Project Manager to join the Site/Civil team. The role emphasizes teaching and training designers, site layout, grading, stormwater, utilities, landscaping, lighting, and soil erosion.

You will also handle project management, zoning and land development permitting, field inspection, and environmental impact assessment. Ideal candidates hold a BS in Civil Engineering, are a licensed PE, have at least 4 years of site and grading design

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Minimum 4 years of site and grading design, zoning and site plan permitting experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD required; Civil 3D/HydroCAD familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach and train entry-level to mid-level designers and analysts.
• Design site layout, grading, stormwater management, utilities, landscaping, lighting, and erosion control.
• Manage projects, zoning and land development permitting, and field inspection.
• Perform hydraulic and hydrologic design analyses and prepare project reports.
