Job summary

Core Group is seeking a Project Engineer with expertise in municipal water and wastewater systems to lead and support design and execution of infrastructure projects. You will work with diverse stakeholders to deliver sustainable water solutions and advance your career in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate brings a PE license, 6+ years of relevant experience, and strong AutoCAD skills.

Qualifications

Active PE license is required.
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline.
Minimum of 6 years of engineering experience in water/wastewater infrastructure.
Proficiency with AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of design principles, permitting processes, and project delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead and assist in the design of municipal water and wastewater facilities and related infrastructure projects.
Prepare engineering plans, specifications, calculations, technical reports, and supporting documentation.
Develop and review engineering drawings using AutoCAD to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Serve as the technical resource and main point of contact for clients throughout project lifecycles.
Coordinate with municipalities, contractors, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to facilitate progress.
Conduct site visits to gather field data and support project execution.
Assist project management activities including scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, and client communication.
Ensure projects adhere to applicable regulations, industry standards, and client specifications.
