Job summary

Bengal in Geismar, Louisiana is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to support crane operations, lift planning, and heavy lifting projects. This role suits a PE with civil, structural, or mechanical fundamentals aiming to develop crane-focused expertise.

Experience in crane operations is a plus but not required. You will sign and seal documents and collaborate with operations, sales, and project teams while visiting sites and participating in safety planning.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with civil, structural, or mechanical background.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Strong fundamentals in statics, strength of materials, and structural analysis.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to learn and collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and analyses for crane operations, rigging, and lift planning.
• Develop and review engineered lift plans with experienced team members.
• Evaluate capacity of foundations, temporary works, and supporting surfaces.
• Review crane configurations and verify lifting capacities using data sheets.
