Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Licensed Patrol Driver in Tampa, FL. The role involves patrolling financial institution sites, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering excellent customer service while complying with safety and access procedures.

The position is full-time with a pay rate of $18.40 per hour. A valid driver’s license is required, along with background checks and a drug screen as applicable by law. Shifts run in the afternoon/evening schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries per site policies.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities and communicate information to site leadership.
