Desort is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in Port Arthur, TX to join the patient care team. You will help patients improve daily living skills and regain independence under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities include providing treatments, assisting activities to enhance function, documenting progress, and participating in care conferences. Strong communication and collaboration with staff and families are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Current and valid Texas OTA license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under supervision.
• Assist patients with activities to improve function and independence.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to supervising therapist.
• Document sessions and progress accurately and promptly.
• Participate in team meetings and care conferences.
• Collaborate with therapists, nursing, and other healthcare professionals.
