Job summary

Synergy Care is seeking a Licensed Certified Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time float position serving multiple senior living communities in the Lafayette, Abbeville, and New Iberia, Louisiana area. The role involves traveling between facilities with a focus on New Iberia/Abbeville due to demand and offers a supportive therapy team and meaningful work with seniors.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (or graduating within the next 6 months).
• Hold a valid NBCOT certification.
• Hold or be eligible for a valid state occupational therapist license.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments
• Assist residents in developing and improving skills needed for daily living and independence
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the therapy team
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient-centered care
