Diamond Braces Orthodontist: Braces & Invisalign in New Jersey seeks a Full-Time Licensed Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join a high-performing clinical team. You will support orthodontists, enhance efficiency, and ensure safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a dental assistant license, at least 1 year of experience, reliable attendance, and the ability to work calmly under pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dental Assistant licensure, as required by applicable state regulations.
• Minimum 1 year of dental experience.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, techniques, and procedures.
• Strong attendance record and dependable reliability.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear communication and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterilization procedures in accordance with OSHA and established clinical guidelines.
• Prepare precise tray setups for orthodontic procedures.
• Obtain diagnostic records including X-rays, intra-oral scans, photos, and impressions.
• Accurately enter clinical notes in patient records.
• Provide direct patient care under the direct supervision of a licensed dentist.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment instructions.
• Fabricate Essix retainers and complete basic lab duties.
• Prepare and document lab cases to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain operatory cleanliness and clinical readiness at all times.
