Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dental Assistant licensure required by state regulations.
• Minimum 1 year of dental experience.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, techniques and procedures.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear communication and professional demeanor.
• Preferred orthodontic experience.
• Experience with digital scanning technology.

Responsibilities

• Sterilize instruments according to OSHA and clinical guidelines.
• Prepare precise tray setups for orthodontic procedures.
• Obtain diagnostic records including X-rays, intra-oral scans, photos, and impressions.
• Enter clinical notes in patient records accurately.
• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a licensed dentist.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment instructions.
• Fabricate Essix retainers and perform basic lab duties.
• Prepare and document lab cases to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain operatory cleanliness and clinical readiness at all times.
