The Licensed Optician delivers the brand value proposition & helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in the community. Creates exceptional value by delivering legendary customer service & high-quality eyewear exceeding expectations.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers, set expectations
• Custom fit glasses & precisely place prescriptions in lenses
• Act as a leader in optical knowledge
• Take & record measurements, adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, meet standards & customer needs
• Assist team with complex products & prescriptions
• Use technology accurately under time pressure, maintain product knowledge
• Explore root causes of issues, ensure customer satisfaction, be solution-driven
• Multi-task, prioritize, manage time effectively
• Achieve results on KPIs & competencies
• Maintain store appearance: clean, attractive, organized
• Report safety concerns, demonstrate safe practices
• Be resourceful, self-motivated, committed to learning & improvement
• Adhere to policies on discounts, promotions, inventory

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• State Licensure
• Optical dispensing experience
• Strong customer service skills: communication, listening, teamwork
• Knowledge of current merchandise
• Basic math skills
• Awareness of fashion trends
• Selling skills & comfort with tablets/iPads
• Familiarity with POS systems, computers, calculators
• Open to new technology & change

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service & retail experience

Pay Range: $25.69 - $38.27
