Warby Parker is searching for skilled and enthusiastic Licensed Opticians to join our growing team of in-house optical all-stars and play an integral part in what we’re all about—helping people see! In this role, you’ll become an expert in our brand and our glasses. Whether you’re helping longtime Warby Parker fans or first-time wearers, you’ll deliver extraordinary customer service to leave them excited and confident about our glasses. You’ll partner with motivated, collaborative individuals who take their work seriously and expand your skill set with career-advancing resources and benefits. Responsibilities include working directly with customers to meet eyewear needs, taking and recording measurements, adjusting and fitting eyewear with accuracy, checking finished eyewear meets standards, explaining prescription terminology and product offerings, helping customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, style, and lifestyle, collaborating with the team to form best practices for sales and customer service, and representing the brand to educate others about its values and mission. Candidates must be licensed dispensing opticians in states that require a license or ABO-certified in non-licensing states, passionate about eyewear and retail, clear communicators, detail-oriented, energetic team players, and open-minded lifelong learners.
