Job summary

National Vision operates Vista Optical locations on military exchanges across the United States, providing eye care and eyewear to military personnel and their families. The role involves dispensing eyewear and ensuring exceptional customer service to meet store goals.

As part of a team, you will also maintain records, manage orders, and support inventory and merchandising while mentoring Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Active dispensing license as required by the state.
• 3+ years related experience or training.
• Strong customer service and clear communication abilities.
• Confident selling skills with the ability to meet store goals.
• Organized, detail-minded, and able to multitask in a busy setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyeglass and contact lens dispensing, including training.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting sales goals and company objectives.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage order follow-up, including notifications.
• Support quality and operational excellence by reducing remakes, following safety standards, and adhering to policies.
• Maintain inventory control, merchandising standards, and a clean, organized work environment.
• Mentor Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.
