Job summary

America’s Best, part of National Vision, is seeking an Optician in Chantilly, VA to deliver outstanding patient care while supporting store performance. You’ll dispense eyeglasses and contact lenses, train customers on lens insertion/removal, and maintain accurate patient records.

The role requires an active dispensing license, 3+ years of related experience, strong customer service, clear communication, and solid organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Hold an active dispensing license as required by the state.
• 3+ years related experience or training (required).
• Strong customer service and clear communication abilities.
• Confident selling skills with the ability to meet store goals.
• Organized, detail-minded, and able to multitask in a busy setting.
• Professional, friendly, and comfortable working with a variety of people.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyeglass and contact lens dispensing, including training.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting sales goals and objectives.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage order follow-up and notifications.
• Support quality and safety by following standards and company policies.
• Maintain inventory, merchandising, and a clean, organized work environment.
• Mentor Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.
