Job Summary
Responsible for dispensing spectacles and optical products to adults and children, working with prescriptions from optometrists and ophthalmologists. Advises patients on lenses and spectacle frames, including style, weight, and color.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities
- Verify order data, compare Rx to prescriptions, and ensure accuracy
- Provide excellent member service, explaining procedures and maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Take measurements, select frames, read prescriptions, and manage order progress
- Educate members on product benefits and recommend suitable options
- Assist with eyeglass adjustments and repairs
- Support opening and closing procedures, ensuring accurate transactions
- Follow all policies and perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain full attendance as required
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid optician license in your state, with active status
- Knowledge of optical products and business practices preferred
- High school diploma or higher; experience in retail or optical fields advantageous
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and detail-oriented skills
- Open shift availability for full-time roles
- Minimum age of 18 years
Environmental Conditions
- Frequent movement on hard surfaces, occasional bending and reaching
- Ability to lift objects up to 20 pounds regularly; heavier with assistance
- Indoor work with exposure to temperature extremes, noise, and cleaning agents
- Use of optical hand tools for adjustments and repairs
Salary range: Starting from $25.00. Actual compensation varies based on location, experience, and qualifications.
