Eyemart Express in Reno, NV is seeking a Licensed Optician to guide patients in selecting frames, lenses, and coatings, ensuring accurate measurements and prescriptions for our lab technicians.

You’ll manage dispensing, uphold confidentiality, process payments, and stay current with promotions, policies, and eyewear care. This role offers a competitive base pay with incentives.

Qualifications

• Optical industry experience and current state License.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Exceptional Customer Service: use optical expertise and product knowledge to meet customer needs.
• Guide patients in selecting eyeglass frames, lenses, and coatings.
• Ensure accurate measurements and prescription information for lab technicians.
• Oversee the production process and dispense glasses to patients.
• Process payments and refunds using the POS system.
• Educate patients on eyeglass care and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Take measurements, prepare work orders, inspect final products for accuracy.
• Adjust and repair frames as needed; price and stock merchandise.

As a Licensed Optician, you'll guide patients in selecting eyeglass frames, lenses, and coatings tailored to their needs. You'll ensure accurate measurements and prescription information for our lab technicians, oversee the production process, and provide personalized care when dispensing glasses to patients.

Earning Potential: The earning potential for this role is competitive, inclusive of base pay ( $32.00 - 38.00) and incentives.
