Job summary

The role emphasizes accurate Rx processing, HIPAA compliance, and delivering friendly member service. You will measure, fit frames, handle payments, and support the Optical Manager with opening/closing procedures in a fast-paced club environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed optician in CT and up-to-date license.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in Rx processing.

Responsibilities

• Verify Rx data entry against doctor prescription.
• Explain exam fees and maintain friendly demeanor with customers.
• Measure and select frames for Rx power; read lensometer results.
• Process payments accurately and handle transactions.
• Educate patients on available products and benefits.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and privacy protocols.
