GENERAL FUNCTION

The Licensed Optician ensures the delivery of the Target Optical Way and the Guest Experience, embodying the Mindsets: People Focused, Collaborative, Results-Driven, Think Differently, and Fun & In Style.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Achieve daily sales goals through excellent Guest Experience behaviors.
• Create a simple, fun, and in-style fashion experience using the Playground Rules.
• Attract new Guests and build brand awareness.
• Develop a professional partnership with the Target Optical doctor and team.
• Model the Target Optical Personal Style Dress Code.
• Accurately fit and dispense fashionable products to Guests.
• Follow all policies and procedures, including marketing, sales transactions, and resource utilization.
• Ensure accuracy in all transactions and interactions with Guests.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• State-required license.
• 1+ years retail or customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong selling skills.
• Results-oriented, self-motivated, with critical thinking and accountability.
• Accurate in measurements.
