Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers, set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses & precisely place prescriptions in lenses.
• Act as a leader in optical acumen.
• Take & record measurements, adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensure standards & customer needs are met.
• Assist team with complex product needs & prescriptions.
• Use technology accurately despite time pressure & customer volume.
• Be proactive, explore root causes, ensure customer satisfaction & exceed expectations.
• Multi-task, prioritize, manage time effectively.
• Achieve results on Brand KPIs & competencies.
• Maintain store appearance, keep it clean & organized.
• Inform management of safety opportunities; demonstrate safe work practices.
• Be resourceful, self-motivated, and committed to learning & improvement.
• Adhere to company policies & procedures, including discounts, promotions & inventory management.

Basic Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State Licensure.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener & team builder.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Awareness of current fashion trends.
• Selling skills – ability to use & carry an iPad/tablet.
• Familiarity with POS, computers & calculators.
• Embrace new technology & change.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service & retail experience.
