Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State Licensure.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener & team builder.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Awareness of current fashion trends.
• Selling skills – ability to use & carry an iPAD/tablet.
• Familiarity with POS, computers & calculators.
• Embrace new technology & change.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and place prescription in lenses.
• Lead in optical acumen.
• Take and record measurements, accurately adjust eyewear.
• Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Use technology accurately under time pressure with strong product knowledge.
• Explore root causes, ensure customer satisfaction and exceed expectations.
• Multi-task and manage competing priorities.
• Aim for Brand KPIs and competencies.
• Maintain store appearance and keep it organized.
• Inform management of safety opportunities.
• Be resourceful and motivated to learn and improve.
• Adhere to policies including discounts, promotions and inventory.
