Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Welcome all customers and set expectations.
2. Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses.
3. Act as a leader in optical knowledge.
4. Take and record measurements, adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, and ensure standards and customer needs are met.
5. Assist the team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
6. Use technology accurately and thoroughly, despite time pressures, with exceptional product knowledge.
7. Explore root causes of issues proactively, think forward, and ensure customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations.
8. Manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
9. Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies.
10. Maintain store appearance, keeping it clean, attractive, and organized.
11. Report safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.
12. Be resourceful, self-motivated, and committed to continual learning and improvement.
13. Adhere to company policies, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management.

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• State Licensure.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Strong customer service skills: communication, listening, and team building.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise and fashion trends.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet.
• Familiarity with POS systems, computers, and calculators.
• Open to embracing new technology and change.
