The Licensed Optician role involves delivering our brand value proposition and establishing LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs. You will create value by providing legendary customer service and crafting high-quality eyewear that exceeds expectations.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and set expectations
• Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses
• Act as a leader in optical knowledge
• Take and record measurements, adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensure standards and customer needs are met
• Assist with complex product needs and prescriptions
• Use technology accurately under time pressure, demonstrate product knowledge, and utilize appropriate tools
• Explore root causes of issues, think proactively, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive solutions
• Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Achieve results on Brand KPIs and competencies
• Maintain store appearance, keep it clean and organized
• Report safety concerns and follow safe work practices
• Be resourceful, self-motivated, and committed to learning and improvement
• Adhere to company policies regarding discounts, promotions, and inventory management

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Optical dispensing experience
• Strong customer service skills: communication, listening, team building
• Knowledge of current store merchandise
• Basic math skills
• Awareness of current fashion trends
• Ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet for sales
• Familiarity with POS systems, computers, and calculators
• Willingness to embrace new technology and change
