Licensed Optical Keyholder - Brookfield Place

Warby Parker is seeking a Licensed Optical Supervisor (also known as Optical Keyholder) to join our team of in-house optical professionals. In this role, you will utilize your optical expertise, friendly demeanor, and product knowledge to create exceptional customer experiences, helping both new and returning customers feel confident about our glasses. As a key-holder, you will assist with opening and closing the store and support internal operations. You will also lead and motivate the optical team, fostering a positive and productive environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct customer service to meet all eyewear needs
• Measuring, adjusting, fitting eyewear accurately
• Ensuring finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests
• Explaining prescription terms and product options to customers

Leadership duties:

• Preparing the store daily to meet operational standards
• Driving sales and store vision through excellent service
• Mentoring team members, including apprentices
• Managing store systems, inventory, and operations
• Promoting a positive team culture

Qualifications:

• Licensed dispensing optician or ABO-certified optician with 2+ years of experience, including supervisory roles
• Passionate about eyewear and retail
• Excellent communicator, able to simplify technical information
• Customer-focused and team-oriented
• Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)

Pay range: $23.50 - $35.50 USD per hour. Compensation may vary based on experience and location. Role may include a cash bonus. Additional details will be provided during the application process.
