Summary: This is a fully remote position within The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Information Resource Center (IRC); the individual in this role will work among a team of Information Specialists.
Information Specialists are highly trained oncology professionals, such as social workers and nurses. They provide personalized blood cancer education, patient advocacy and psychosocial support, to a diverse demographic of pediatric and adult blood cancer patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals from diagnosis through survivorship. In addition, Bilingual Spanish Information Specialists will provide services and support in both Spanish and English. They will be available for consultations to assist English only speaking colleagues with complicated Spanish-speaking cases needing appropriate resource guidance.
**Ideal candidate MUST reside and be able to work Mountain or Pacific time zones dependent on where you live**
Information Specialists empower and equip patients and caregivers to effectively communicate with their healthcare team and promote patient self-advocacy, as well as provide clinical trial education and awareness and refer to the LLS Clinical Trial Support Center (CTSC) when appropriate.
Information Specialists work collaboratively with their IRC colleagues, internal LLS departments, and external organizations to reduce barriers to care and improve the quality of life of blood cancer patients and their families.
While employees may be permitted to work remotely, travel to the assigned office, HUB or Satellite Offices may be required as determined by the employee’s manager and the employee’s People Organization Generalist.

We are excited to share the base pay range for this position is $74,000 to $81,000. The offered compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at LLS we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the current compensation of similarly situated roles and direct team members. Base compensation is only one component of our Total Rewards program, which also includes an annual incentive plan and a competitive benefits package.
