Job summary

Cap City Property Inspections LLC is seeking a motivated Ohio Licensed Home Inspector to join our Columbus team. You will perform thorough visual inspections of residential properties, evaluating plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, and other systems while identifying safety hazards and code issues.

You will communicate findings to clients via clear reports, provide guidance on addressing issues, and ensure high-quality service to homeowners and buyers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed, non-invasive inspections of residential properties.
• Use specialized tools to inspect structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Identify defects, code violations, and safety hazards and document them clearly.
• Prepare concise, professional inspection reports for clients with findings and recommendations.
• Explain technical issues in layman's terms to clients and answer questions.
• Provide repairs or replacement recommendations for defective items when appropriate.
• Follow industry standards and regulations to ensure thorough and accurate inspections.
