Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist to lead evaluation and treatment for facility patients. You will screen, assess, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the rehab team.

The role requires an active state license, a degree in Occupational Therapy, and strong communication skills. You will supervise OT staff, educate treatment teams, and ensure compliance with accreditation standards and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s and/or Master’s in Occupational Therapy, current state license, excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates competency in therapy treatment and evaluation principles, techniques, materials, and equipment utilization.
• Shows knowledge of state and federal accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat facility patients/residents needing Occupational Therapy services.
• Review medical information and screenings to determine patient need for services.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needs.
• Provide direct treatment and educate staff; supervise OT staff as needed.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings; relay findings to rehab team.
• Attend family meetings and adhere to documentation requirements.
