Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital is seeking a casual, in-house Occupational Therapist registry position. The role includes direct patient care, teaching, and participation on appropriate committees and process improvement initiatives at the Lake Forest Hospital campus.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy, Illinois OT license, and BLS. Masters or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Occupational Therapist License in the state of Illinois.
• BLS from American Heart Association upon hire.
• Masters or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates NM values of Patients First, Integrity, Teamwork, and Excellence.
• Provides direct patient care, teaching, and participates on committees and process improvement.
• Maintains productivity standards and completes NM required education, competencies and training.
• Contributes to education efforts of the department and acts as a clinical instructor or mentor where appropriate.
