Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Home Health team in the greater West Liberty area. You will evaluate patients in their homes, plan and administer therapy to develop or restore daily living skills, and coordinate DME and safety devices with care teams.

This position travels locally throughout the greater West Liberty Oh area (West Liberty, Lima, Bellefontaine, and Urbana) providing patient services in a Home Health care setting.

The Occupational TherapistReports to Therapy Manager/Director of Nursing. Evaluates, plans, and administers comprehensive occupational therapy modalities/regimes to patients in their place of residence for the purpose of developing and restoring function through rehabilitative occupational therapy as prescribed by a physician. Focus on compensatory techniques to develop, recover, or maintain the daily living and work skills of patients. To delineate the scope of services provided by the Occupational Therapy Services program offered by the Agency. Assist with coordination and collaboration of obtaining DME and safety devices with patient/family/and health care team members.
