Prava Therapy in California is seeking a compassionate PRN Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient clinic housed in a premier Assisted Living Facility. You will build lasting relationships with residents and help grow the caseload toward a full-time schedule.

The role focuses on geriatric rehabilitation, including fall prevention, mobility and pain management, with collaboration among families and physicians. A solid OT background and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state of California.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience specifically working with the geriatric population (Outpatient, SNF, or ALF experience preferred).
• Strong clinical reasoning, excellent interpersonal communication, and a "growth mindset" to help build the program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments of residents to determine functional limitations and rehabilitation potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Growth: Act as an ambassador for the therapy department, educating residents and staff on the benefits of outpatient PT to help grow the caseload toward a full-time schedule.
