We are looking for a charismatic individual to join our team as the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator at Prestige Care Center of Morrison in beautiful Morrison, Colorado. We are a 180-bed skilled nursing facility under new management. The right person must be passionate about the quality of care their residents receive, while also being passionate about growing the individuals around them through creating an empowered environment for all. The primary focus of this job is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of all departments in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility.
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator Duties:
- Ensure positive resident, family, and employee relations by responding promptly and appropriately to their needs, requests, concerns, and suggestions. Hold a town hall meeting once a month with residents while leading the conversation. Follow up on any unresolved issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that encourages a positive nurturing environment for residents, families, vendors, and guests.
- Responsible for effective and economical operation of all departments, ensuring that company goals and objectives are accomplished following established standards and budgeting allocations.
- Operate the community in a manner that will ensure company profitability by exceeding all community budget and census guidelines as set by Prestige Care Center Management. Follow and adhere to the budget in all situations. Monitor staffing hours and overtime daily to detect problems early and avoid utilizing temporary staffing.
- Perform administrative duties including month-end reports. Ensure timely and accurate completion of all daily, weekly, and monthly billings.
- Comply with state and federal laws and regulations and all Prestige Care Center Management policies regarding the operation of the community.
- Develop and maintain systems to effectively monitor community operations, including occupancy rate, income and expenses, supply and capital asset inventories, resident, and staff satisfaction.
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator Qualifications:
- A valid, unrestricted Nursing Home Administrator's License in Colorado.
- Bachelor's degree in health administration preferred.
- At least three (3) years of experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing home, or other related healthcare facility.
- Knowledgeable of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
