Job description

NFI North is seeking Per Diem Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNA’s) for each of our Specialized Residential Homes in Newport NH.There will be two (2) sites in Newport with five (5) individuals living at each of our Specialty Homes. We are looking for LNAs that can work per diem second shift, third shift and weekends.

These new programs will augment our existing continuum of care in large part due to our continued growth in serving this valuable population in NH. The Agency has a progressive reputation of providing comprehensive clinical, nursing, medical, case management, vocational, educational and peer support services and life skills to adults living with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) or Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) and/or complex medical needs. The participants residing in these treatment facilities are seeking independent home-like living.

Responsibilities: Provide fundamental living skills to participants, to include medical treatment under the NH LNA scope of practice. Assess and documents patient vital signs including height, weight and reports all abnormal findings to the RN and/or provider. Assist with patient intake and discharge procedures as directed by the RN or Medical Provider.

Qualifications: Meet all regulatory compliance requirements for LNA, performing clinical nursing procedures and functions within the New Hampshire (NH) LNA Scope of Practice. High School Diploma and valid NH Nursing Assistance License (LNA) and current BLS certificate preferred. Two years of experience in a clinical, primary care/ambulatory setting preferred.
