Job summary

Brattleboro Memorial Hospital in Brattleboro, Vermont is seeking a part-time Licensed Nursing Assistant to join the Progressive Care Unit. The LNA will assist with patient hygiene, vital signs, transfers, ambulation, meals, and clerical tasks while maintaining a safe environment.

The role requires a per diem weekend/holiday schedule, non-exempt status, and a high school diploma with CPR certification and Vermont LNA licensure; prior LNA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent. CPR certified.
• Previous LNA experience preferred.
• Current Vermont Nursing Assistant licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient hygiene and vital signs as directed by the RN.
• Record intake, output, and weights; assist with transfers, ambulation and transportation.
• Assist with meal service, trays, nourishments, and feeding; document accordingly.
• Answer call lights, telephone and assist with clerical tasks as needed.
• Organize supplies and maintain a clean, safe patient environment.
• Follow Universal Precautions and report changes in patient condition.
