Job summary

Exeter Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Licensed Nursing Assistant for a night shift (two 24-hour shifts per week, 7 p.m.–7:30 a.m.) in the 4West Medical/Surgical unit. The role focuses on bedside patient care and teamwork in a Magnet-recognized hospital.

You will support nursing staff, perform basic procedures, and document care while contributing to a safe, compassionate environment for patients and families. Competitive pay and benefits from day one are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold NH Nursing Assistant license.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire required.
• Nights: 24-hour shifts with every other weekend.

We’ll make sure you are supported and well-cared for as you care for our patients and their loved ones.Requirements:Licensed Nursing Assistant – NH StateCPR Certified within 90 days of hireMajor Responsibilities:Follows established departmental policies and procedures; objectives; quality improvement programs; safety/environment of care programs and infection control standards.Performs basic procedures including incentive spirometry; bedside testing such as blood glucose testing; non-sterile dressing changes and oral suctioning; maintaining aseptic techniques when appropriate.Provides personal care to patients.Monitoring the condition of patients and reports changes to appropriate personnel.Performs accurate and timely documentation of patient care information on appropriate patient medical record forms.Maintains a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patient and family in accordance with hospital standards for patients, including assurance and support of patients' rights and responsibilities.Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs; current literature; in-services; meetings and workshops.Determines proper functioning of medical equipment to assure patient safety.Participates in the development and implementation of the patient care plan.Pay Range:$20.00 – $28.70The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.
