  • 4 days ago - Be among the first 25 applicants
  • External LNA candidates with at least 1 year of experience (and not employed by UVMHN within the last year) are eligible for a one-time $5,000 sign-on bonus, requiring a 2-year commitment. Current employees are ineligible. Terms apply.
  • Shifts & Hours: Day and Night shifts from 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. or 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m. Full-time, part-time, or per diem options available based on staffing needs.
Position Summary

Under supervision of the Licensed Nurse, performs direct and indirect nursing care for patients, responsible for care of assigned patients, and accountable to the unit manager/charge nurse.

  • Provides care in accordance with policies, standards, physician orders, and care plans.
  • Supports communication regarding patient status and changes.
  • Functions within department policies and procedures.
  • Supports the philosophy and goals of the nursing department and CVMC.
Basic Knowledge & Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of 75-hour Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation.
  • Registered as a Licensed Nursing Assistant in Vermont.
  • Prior experience preferred but not required; ability to perform basic nursing skills essential.
