Job Description

Join our team as a weekend Licensed Nursing Assistant at Rockingham County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Our Weekenders earn a rate of pay of 1.5 times the base hourly rate.

Scope of Position
  • Provides various resident/client direct care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for and monitoring the personal needs and comfort of the residents/clients under the direction of a licensed nurse.
  • Provides personal care services to residents/clients as directed by the licensed nurse according to the resident’s/client’s plan of care (bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting).
  • Completes all documentation as required in electronic medical records system.
  • Observes and reports any changes and/or concerns identified during resident care activities.
  • Maintains resident’s/client’s rooms and belongings in a clean, orderly condition, as well as all unit common areas.
  • Responds to and answers call lights and alarms promptly.
  • Provides other non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the residents as directed by the licensed nurse (examples include cleaning of equipment, preparing residents/clients' rooms for admissions).
  • Follows established safety and Infection Control policies and procedures. Intervenes in and/or reports unsafe situations.
  • Follows all safety procedures as it relates to the lifting, transferring, and transporting of residents per resident/client care directive.
Minimum Requirements
  • Successful completion of an approved course for Licensed Nursing Assistant as set by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing.
  • Must possess and maintain a current, valid, unencumbered New Hampshire LNA license.
  • Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must have working knowledge or willingness to learn Electronic Medical Records systems.

Sat/Sun: Earn 1.5X the base hourly rate + applicable shift differentials:

Hours worked between 7:00am-3:00pm: $3.00/hour

Hours worked between 3:00pm-11:00pm: $7.125/hour

Hours worked between 11:00pm-7:00am: $8.25/hour
