Job summary

Elliot Health System in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a Licensed Nursing Assistant II to assist providers in patient care across assigned clinical areas and to support routine examinations, procedures, and vital signs.

This role includes rooming patients, documenting measurements, assisting with examinations and procedures, managing supplies, and serving as a preceptor for new staff; shift is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with 4 x 8 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant License in the State of New Hampshire required.
• BLS authorization preferred or obtained within 90 days of date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient examination and procedures.
• Perform visit chart preparation activities.
• Obtain and document age and/or condition-specific measurements accurately including vital signs and bladder scan.
• Document using clear, concise, and professional written skills.
• Manage clinical supplies and medication sample areas to ensure stock is current and properly stored.
• Act as a principal preceptor in the clinical orientation of new staff.
