Marquis Companies is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time day shift position at our Oregon facilities. The role involves administering medications, maintaining patient safety, and collaborating with the nursing team to deliver quality geriatric care.

Responsibilities include managing med administration, restocking and organizing the med cart, adhering to facility policies, and supporting the nursing staff in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed RN or LPN for the applicable state.
• Experience with geriatric patients preferred.
• Strong computer skills for electronic medical records system.

As aLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) you will be responsible for the administering of medications to the residents as ordered by the attending physician, the nurse supervisor, charge nurse, and/or Director of Nursing Services. Job duties include (but are not limited to) administering medications to residents; refilling and cleaning the stock cart; administering medications in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures and practices of the facility and the requirements of the state; and other nursing duties as assigned.

As aRegistered Nurse (RN), your nursing and Leaderships skills will ensure that quality nursing care is provided to the residents and you will direct the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Assistants. Job duties include meeting with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan the shifts’ services, programs, and activities.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN or LPN for the appropriate State.
• Experience in a healthcare setting working with the geriatric population is preferred, but not required.
• Strong computer skills are needed for use of our electronic medical records system.
