Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Licensed Nurse Assistant (LNA) is responsible for specific aspects of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): taking vital signs, responding to call lights, Electronic Medical Record documentation, personal care such as bathing, mouth care, toileting, and skin care.

Our ideal candidates will be reliable, flexible, compassionate, and empathetic. They must have a strong sense of teamwork and a focus on providing the best possible care to our patients. Excellent time management skills are essential in our fast-paced inpatient units. We serve all specialties within our hospital and are currently hiring LNAs for our Inpatient Psych unit and Alternative Care unit.

Current LNA openings are on the following units:

  • Neurosurgery & Science - Full-Time Day & Night
  • Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) - Part-Time Day
  • Medical ICU - Full-Time Night and Part-Time Day/Evening

Education:

LNA licensure within the State of Vermont is required.
