Role Description The Licensed Practical Nurse role is a full-time, on-site position located in Russellville, AR. The nurse will provide direct patient care to individuals with renal and related conditions, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with treatments as ordered by physicians. Daily responsibilities include assessing patient status, documenting clinical information accurately in medical records, and communicating changes in condition to the care team. The nurse will educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle considerations to support overall health and adherence. Additional tasks include collaborating with physicians and other clinicians, following infection control and safety protocols, and participating in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted nursing license (LPN) in the state of Arkansas and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Demonstrated clinical skills in medication administration, patient assessment, and basic nursing procedures.
• Strong patient communication and education skills, with the ability to explain care plans in clear and respectful language.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and support staff and to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

• Coordinate scheduling for patient appointments with providers/facilities for orders and referrals with prior authorizations if needed.
