Join Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH) as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist / Team Lead for our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team, where you’ll oversee life-changing care for individuals living with severe mental illness and substance use challenges. What You’ll Do:

  • Supervise and provide clinical guidance to the multidisciplinary team, ensuring best practices in mental health treatment.
  • Manage team schedules, timesheets, billing, documentation, client intake processes, and utilization reviews.
  • Participate directly in client care, providing therapeutic interventions and developing treatment plans to ensure service delivery.
  • Actively participate in screening referrals, assessments, and person-centered planning meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Psychiatric Care Provider and other team members to ensure high-quality, ethical care is delivered.
  • Ensure documentation and reporting are completed accurately and on time.
  • Lead daily team meetings and provide on-call crisis intervention as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid license (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or LPC) in NC
  • At least 3 years of experience working with adults living with severe mental illness, with at least 1-year post-graduate.
  • Comfortable working in community settings with a valid driver’s license.
  • Prior supervisory experience – preferred.
