The Role

We seek a compassionate, licensed Mental Health Therapist in North Carolina for a flexible, part-time, remote contract role. You will provide virtual therapy, supporting clients on their mental health journeys and delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

1. Provide individual counseling via secure videoconferencing.
2. Create and monitor personalized treatment plans.
3. Use evidence-based practices for various mental health conditions.
4. Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
5. Collaborate with healthcare team members.
6. Build trusting therapeutic relationships.
7. Educate clients on mental health, coping, and self-care.
8. Encourage active client participation and empowerment.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted North Carolina license (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, Psychologist, or equivalent).
• Experience providing telehealth services for at least two years.
• Maintain CEUs and relevant credentials.
• Active NPI (Medicare number preferred).
• Eligible for federally funded healthcare programs.
• Proficient with telehealth platforms and EHR systems.
• Private, HIPAA-compliant remote workspace.
• Reliable high-speed internet and familiarity with tools like Zoom.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
