Job description

Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW/LMFT/LCPC, Full time, Remote)
  • Full-time

NOCD is an award-winning digital health company focused on identifying people with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and managing their symptoms using evidence-based protocols through our teletherapy treatment platform. Today, NOCD manages the largest community of OCD patients in the world. Our mission is to help connect over 181 million people globally in the OCD community who are suffering in silence due to stigma and lack of access to effective care.

Members can access moderated support communities and therapeutic tools through the NOCD app. Researchers at Columbia Medical Center found our evidence-based ERP protocol reduces OCD symptoms by 47%.

We seek passionate therapists with unrestricted licenses who share our mission of making OCD treatment accessible and affordable worldwide.

  • Help individuals with OCD learn to feel better and maintain their progress. Members enroll via our intake team, and are assigned a therapist.

Responsibilities include providing diagnosis, assessment, and evidence-based psychotherapy via our video platform, following NOCD Clinical Protocols, and advising members on executing and adhering to their ERP plans.

You will manage your caseload and schedule, develop a professional, member-focused identity, and maintain complete clinical documentation using our EHR system. Participation in clinical consultation, training, and performance reviews is expected to enhance your knowledge of evidence-supported treatments for OCD.

Collaboration with our network of providers to develop and reinforce treatment decisions is vital.

  • A licensed mental health professional with a full, unrestricted license in good standing in your state.

Masters degree or higher from an accredited university in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.

At least 1 year of post-masters supervised experience with evidence-based therapies (e.g., ERP, CBT, ACT).

Experience with OCD treatment using ERP or ACT is preferred but not required.

Must be organized, quick learner, excellent communicator, receptive to feedback, and good at time management.

Self-motivated, autonomous, and proficient with G-suite, Zoom, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and overall tech-savvy.

Must have a private, confidential workspace with stable internet (minimum 50 Mbps download speed).

Ambitious and eager to thrive in a competitive, start-up environment.

Benefits include remote work flexibility, specialized clinical training, competitive compensation, opportunities for licensing in additional states, and ongoing professional development.

Join a supportive, collaborative team dedicated to serving an underserved community in mental health, with industry-leading training and opportunities for specialization as an ERP expert.
