Lightheart Mental Health in Seattle, WA seeks a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our clinical team. The role offers a supportive environment for licensure candidates and experienced therapists alike, with collaboration across a multidisciplinary team.

You will conduct assessments, provide outpatient therapy to individuals and families, and develop care plans while maintaining documentation and adhering to licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Current and active license in Washington State or eligible for licensure by hire.
• Commitment to high-quality, ethical mental health care.
• Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and pursue ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy based on client needs.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorizations.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and staff to provide holistic care.
