Job summary

Lightheart Mental Health in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join a collaborative clinical team. The role emphasizes outpatient individual and family therapy, with supervision and growth opportunities as licensure progresses.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, participate in case reviews, and ensure timely documentation and billing. Eligible for a $2,500 hiring incentive for supervising associate clinicians.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, MFT, or related field.
• Current Washington State license or eligibility by hire.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and CE.
• Willingness to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong ethics and confidentiality adherence.
• Excellent communication and rapport with clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy tailored to each client.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, and insurance authorizations.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, NPs, dietitians, admin staff, and therapists.
